ABOUT ME
Hi Sigma Xi Judges & Members!
I am a rising senior at The Bronx High School of Science, a New York City public school where I am Captain of our trophy-winning Science Olympiad team and serve actively in our National Honor Society. I play First Flute for the Bronx Science Orchestra and have a passion for music, aviation, math, statistics and science. In addition to working with the National Cancer Institute to conduct this research in the field of digital pathology, as a freshman, I authored an article for the Bronx Science Journal of Biology analyzing the CDC's infectious disease response protocols. My assessment of lessons learnt from Ebola and H1N1 eerily anticipated some of the global challenges we now face in addressing 2019-nCoV. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, I have been seeking to give back by tutoring underserved students through Upchieve in addition to helping fellow classmates in AP Physics and AP Calculus BC through our NHS tutoring program.
I hope you enjoyed reading about my research!
